In 2014, the University of New Hampshire (UNH) joined the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), a significant milestone that streamlines the process for students to access educational opportunities across state lines. With New Hampshire's approval, UNH offers online programs to students in other SARA member states without additional authorization, fostering a more inclusive and accessible educational environment.
In fiscal year 2024, Enterprise Technology & Services (ET&S) helped expand the reach of online and distance education. In July 2023, Granite State College (GSC) merged with UNH. ET&S assisted with this strategic move by integrating GSC student data into the UNH Student Information System. This included crucial information such as fieldwork locations and residency details for online course participants.
Spring 2024 marked the expansion of this integration to encompass all students enrolled in UNH online programs. ET&S's proactive approach ensured these changes were implemented for crucial registration dates, maintaining compliance with NC-SARA regulations and supporting UNH's commitment to educational excellence.
Looking ahead, ET&S is embarking on the third phase of this project, transitioning the electronic data collection process from Banner Self-Service version 8 to the more advanced version 9. This upgrade, scheduled for July 2024, signifies ET&S's ongoing dedication to leveraging technology to enhance the educational experience.

This report encapsulates ET&S's commitment to advancing UNH's educational mission through strategic partnerships and technological innovation, ensuring that the institution remains at the forefront of online and distance education.
