This week’s Enterprise Technology & Services Tech Briefing contains new information and some reminders.

New Login Method for USNH Applications (Reminder)
To Know:
 As a reminder, starting Tuesday, August 1, most USNH applications will require students, faculty, and staff to log in with their Fully Qualified Username, which comprises your username followed by @usnh.edu.

Please note: your campus email address will remain the same.

This unique identifier plus Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA, which you already use) will authenticate your access to many services, regardless of campus affiliation. 

To Do: If you experience trouble logging in with your Fully Qualified Username, please Clear the Cache on your web browser.

Email Distribution List Management Changes on August 1 (Reminder)

As of August 1, 2023, email distribution list owners will use the Microsoft Portal to manage their distribution groups.

To Do: ET&S recommends that owners review their distribution lists to determine if they are current and necessary. If you are a distribution list owner, please read our article on Accessing the Portal and Managing Distribution Groups.

New myUNH Portal will Replace the Old Portal on Tuesday, August 8

To Know: In spring 2023, UNH launched a new portal to provide the campus community with a tailored, one-stop online resource accessible to all UNH students, faculty, and staff using a web browser or mobile device. ET&S is migrating all content and functionality to the new portal.

On Tuesday, August 8, ET&S will redirect the previous version of the myUNH Portal to its new home.

To Do: Make the new portal your home by visiting https://my.usnh.edu and signing in with your UNH username and password.  

mySites at USNH

To Know: mySites at USNH is a free academic website building tool built on the WordPress platform available to the University System of New Hampshire students, faculty, and staff.

To Do: To request a website, go to https://sites.usnh.edu.

Changes to Salesforce

To Know: After July 31, 2023, Salesforce triggers in post-survey options will no longer be available in Qualtrics.  Existing Response Mapping and Web-To-Lead legacy triggers will be removed entirely after July 31, 2023.

To Do: Review the Salesforce integration in Workflows to accomplish the same capabilities. You must migrate from the legacy Response Mapping and Web-to-Lead Salesforce triggers by July 31, 2023

MUB G14 Computing Cluster is Going Away

To Know: ET&S is retiring the MUB G14 Computer Cluster.

To Do: Additional Computing Clusters are available in the McConnell Common and the Dimond Library.
