This week’s Tech Briefing contains new information.

ET&S to Enable Seamless Single Sign-On (SSO) for PSU Banner Self-Service and Degree Works Production on Monday, May 22

To Know: On Monday, May 22, from 7:00 – 8:00 a.m., ET&S will enable SSO for PSU Banner Self-Service and Degree Works. During this time, these applications will not be available. When you log in to these applications, the page will look different. Here are a few other things to know:

• The abovementioned applications require refreshing your authentication session more frequently than other Microsoft SSO-enabled apps.
• If you log out of these applications, it will also sign you out of other Microsoft MFA-enabled applications, such as your email, Canvas, and Zoom.

To Do: If you are having trouble signing into the applications listed above on or after Monday, May 22, please clear your browser cache and cookies and close your browser. Click here for instructions.

To Know: On Wednesday, May 24, from 7:00 – 8:00 a.m., ET&S will enable SSO for USNH Banner HR/Finance Self-Service (BPRD). This will impact both WISE and PCard Receipt App. During this time, these applications will not be available. When you log in to these applications, the page will look different. Here are a few other things to know:

• The abovementioned applications require refreshing your authentication session more frequently than other Microsoft SSO-enabled apps.
• If you log out of these applications, it will also sign you out of other Microsoft MFA-enabled applications, such as your email, Canvas, and Zoom
• ET&S recommends using a separate browser for these Banner applications to avoid being signed out of your other applications.
