The Enterprise Technology & Services (ET&S) Tech Briefings contain important information and reminders for USNH faculty and staff. We will deliver these briefings every Thursday through October and whenever necessary. This week’s ET&S Tech Briefing contains new items and a few important reminders.

Coming This Fall: Enhanced Security for Microsoft 365 Email
To Know:
Over the next six months, Enterprise Technology & Services (ET&S) will roll out
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Microsoft 365 (M365) to all University System of New Hampshire (USNH) students and employees to further enhance security on USNH email accounts. Purdue University began using  MFA for Microsoft 365 services in the fall of 2021 and saw its
rate of compromised accounts plummet.

ET&S piloted this change with employees in June to collect feedback on the process. Last week, we implemented MFA for M365 for all USNH Systems Office employees.

To Do: No user action is required at this time. Please stay tuned for more information.

To Do: If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available. Call or text 988.
