The student-run UNH Trash 2 Treasure (T2T) is an annual program designed to help eliminate waste. This event is held on the move-in weekend to sell recycled items donated at the end of the previous fall move-out period.
In August 2021, Enterprise Technology & Services assisted T2T by helping improve its sales and transaction processes. Before ET&S’ involvement, T2T did not have a dedicated credit card terminal. To help eliminate this need, ET&S created a secure, dedicated storefront (uStores) in TouchNet with a corresponding QR code publicly posted at the event. Some customers used this payment method to pay directly online through their personal mobile devices, which provided T2T with PCI compliance.
