In March 2020, UNH moved to a new email gateway, which monitors how emails are sent and received to protect the university from internal and external cyber threats.
Microsoft Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) provides this modern email hygiene and defense system and represents cost savings for USNH.
Microsoft ATP provides the following features:
- Scans links and attachments for malicious content
- Defends against spam, phish and impostor emails
- Protects against internal compromised senders
- Remediates delivered email later found to be malicious
- Improves reporting and threat analytics
