As part of its typical responsibilities, Enterprise Technology & Services plays a significant role in ensuring payroll runs smoothly and accurately. By consistently updating and maintaining Banner Finance, this ensures USNH employees are paid on time to comply with federal and state standards.
During COVID-19, ET&S worked with the USNH System Human Resources Office to assist in complying with the continuously changing federal and state regulations as a result of the pandemic. In spring 2020, ET&S Implemented new earnings codes for payroll, developed tools to bulk-load special payments, and create queries to review data for accuracy.
The various regulatory requirements affected many hundreds of employees’ paychecks. It also required many hours of work from the USNH HR Office, and ET&S provided assistance day and night to meet very tight deadlines.
