ET&S Strategic Communications

This week’s Enterprise Technology & Services (ET&S) Tech Briefing contains two pieces of important information.

UPDATE TO KSC ADOBE LICENSES FOR EMPLOYEES

To Know: All KSC employees will continue to have access to the Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise Suite on their USNH-managed device. Adobe Creative Cloud has 20+ creative apps, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, and Acrobat Pro. You also get templates, Adobe cloud storage, and thousands of fonts from the Adobe Fonts library.

To Do:

Existing Adobe Users

Next week, current Adobe users will receive multiple emails from Adobe indicating changes to their Adobe license. These indicate changes to the back-end licensing and not to your access to Creative Cloud applications. You will continue to have access to all the Creative Cloud apps.

  • If you are not signed into your Adobe account, sign in with your KSC email address.
  • If you're already signed into an Adobe application or Adobe Creative Cloud on your desktop with a previous account, you'll need to sign out of that account and sign in with your KSC email account. The steps for this process are located here: Reactivate Adobe License.
  • Your content should be automatically migrated, but if you have an issue, request support.

New Adobe Users

For new users needing a license, please allow 24-48 hours before accessing the application from the time you receive this email. To start using the new license, go to https://td.usnh.edu/TDClient/60/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=2417 for instructions.

Cybersecurity: Online Data Security Training
To Know:
Starting in 2023, the University System of New Hampshire will request that all employees complete an annual online training course on cybersecurity best practices. This program will be available through the Get Inclusive platform, and the goal of this online training is to increase USNH staff awareness of cyber threats and how best to protect data and information systems. Research has shown that many cyber-attacks result from unintentional user mistakes, and cybersecurity awareness training can significantly lower that risk.

To Do: Watch your inbox. In the next few weeks, you will receive an email from Get Inclusive with instructions to begin Data Security training. The training module is self-paced and will take around 20 minutes to complete. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and participation. By learning to protect ourselves, we protect each other.
