Strategic Communications

This week’s Tech Briefing includes information on UNH Cybersecurity Awareness Month, an update on the Box-to-M365 migration, training information, and a few other tidbits.

Box-to-M365 Migration Update

To Know: ET&S recently created an updated Box-to-M365 migration schedule and will contact your department in advance of your move to ensure all goes smoothly. In the meantime, Microsoft office hours are available on the Teaching & Learning Technologies Training Calendar. This prerequisite training is essential for a smoother transition off Box to OneDrive and SharePoint.

To Do: If your department has yet to migrate, register for the upcoming meetings/training sessions listed at https://at-training.unh.edu/apps/ssr. Your department rep can also schedule a Migration meeting or M365 Training for your department by emailing the request to UNH_Box.migration@unh.edu.

Coming Soon: New Adobe License Available to All Faculty and Staff

To Know: Over the summer, ET&S negotiated a new three-year Adobe Enterprise Term License Agreement(ETLA) for UNH. In October, all faculty and staff will have full access to the Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise Suite and can install it on university-owned devices. Students can access the UNH license in UNH computer labs and classroom devices, but not on their own devices. We will provide further information once this license becomes available.
