Coming Soon: New Adobe License Available to All Faculty and Staff

To Know: Over the summer, ET&S negotiated a new three-year Adobe Enterprise Term License Agreement(ETLA) for UNH. In October, all faculty and staff will have full access to the Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise Suite and can install it on university-owned devices. Students can access the UNH license in UNH computer labs and classroom devices, but not on their own devices. We will provide further information once this license is available.

Cybersecurity Month: Boss of the SOC (BOTS)
To Know:
Every October, the University System of New Hampshire recognizes Cybersecurity Awareness Month and offers training and awareness events for students, faculty, and staff. As part of this event, the Cybersecurity team is excited to announce the addition of BOTS. In this Capture-the-Flag style workshop, contestants play the part of a Security Operations Center (SOC) analyst to solve a series of realistic security challenges. Participants will use the leading cybersecurity technology provided by Splunk to answer these questions as quickly and accurately as possible. The contestant with the most points at the end of the competition wins (prize TBA). This event is free and open to all USNH students, faculty, and staff but is limited to 150 participants. First come, first serve. No previous experience is required, but if you’d like to hone your skills, go to https://www.splunk.com/en_us/blog/security/hunting-with-splunk-the-basics.html.
Date: Thursday, October 13, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
