As the excitement around back to school begins and community members return this fall, it is also a time for bad cyber actors to increase their malicious cyber activity. ET&S Cybersecurity would like to remind everyone to be diligent before clicking on links in emails, especially those requesting your institutional credentials.

If you believe you have clicked on a malicious link or responded to a suspicious email with your credentials, please sign into myAccount and change your password immediately. If you cannot do this, contact your campus Help Desk.

Please note that each phishing attempt varies in its wording and purpose. We are providing this information as a guideline. Please be diligent when reading and responding to emails and always verify who the sender is.

If you believe an email is a phishing attempt, please forward the email to Phishing.Report@unh.edu , or use the ‘Report Message’ feature in Outlook to report the message as Phishing.

Additional resources can be found on the ET&S Cybersecurity Website.
