This summer, all University System of New Hampshire campuses will replace existing campus-specific wireless networks with eduroam, a global wireless network access service for research and education. Once you connect to eduroam using your institution’s username and password (example username: abc1234@institution.edu), you can access the network at other eduroam institutions, including all University System of New Hampshire (USNH) campuses, without additional software or special accounts.
This change will benefit you in the following ways:
- Simplified authentication and access to our wireless networks
- Streamlined onboarding and network registration process across all USNH institutions
- Faster wireless signal
- Increased security
- Wireless access to other eduroam networks in more than 100 countries globally
Over the summer, Enterprise Technology & Services will send additional messages that will contain information on how to connect to eduroam.
