Data Sharing and Reuse

Locating a Data Repository

SharePoint @ UNH is not a data repository and is not suitable for meeting the requirements of public access to data. For guidance locating a repository for your data, visit the Data Management Toolkit @ UNH or contact the Research Data Services Librarian.

Sharing Human Subjects or Culturally/Nationally Sensitive Data

Before sharing human subjects or culturally/nationally sensitive data, always consider the rights and responsibilities you have with regard to issues of confidentiality, privacy, and intellectual property. For more on the responsible conduct of research, see the Responsible Conduct of Research & Scholarly Activity research guide.

For more information contact Research Integrity Services or the Research Data Services Librarian.

UNH Data Catalog

The UNH Data Catalog is an inventory of data sets that UNH researchers have deposited in external repositories for long-term access and preservation. The Data Catalog consists of simple descriptive records that link out to published or archived research data. If it is not possible to make your data publicly accessible, you can still create a public record of the data in the UNH Data Catalog, documenting conditions of its stewardship or provisions for access.

The objective of the Data Catalog is to improve and promote the discovery of UNH research data and foster an institutional culture of responsible data sharing and reuse.
