Through our connections to Internet2 the iBeam provides three levels of cloud connectivity.
- I2PX – Internet2 Peering Exchange is automatically part of iBeam Internet service and is fully transparent to our users. Internet2 and our Boston connector partner the Northern Crossroads provide low-hop-count direct peering to multiple cloud providers.
- “Cloud-Connect”, provides up to 5Gbps direct connectivity (layer-2 or layer-3) to one of a choice of cloud providers, for a moderate recurring fee. Please contact us to develop a design and price quote with you.
- The third tier, “Rapid Private Interconnect”, provides dedicated 10Gbps direct connectivity (layer-2 or layer-3) to one of a choice of cloud providers, for a higher (but still reasonable) recurring fee. Please contact us to develop a design and price quote with you.
