NetworkNH owns and operates the high-speed USNH IBEAM statewide fiber network. NetworkNH also works with multiple vendors to lease long-haul transport, internet, and Internet2 services on behalf of our clients, both locally and regionally. NetworkNH provides high-touch support and comprehensive services associated with high-speed broadband connectivity.
The NetworkNH team designed, constructed, and operates a 70-site, fiber-based Wide Area Network (WAN) throughout all 10 counties in New Hampshire. This network is known as the IBEAM (Infrastructure to Broaden Educational Access and Mindshare). We provide virtually unlimited bandwidth to all of the USNH institutions (UNH, UNH Manchester, and UNH School of Law, Keene State College, Plymouth State University, and Granite State College). NetworkNH also provides multi-Gigabit service to the Community College System of New Hampshire and many of non-profits around the state.
The NetworkNH team excels in collaborating beyond New Hampshire by leveraging partnerships with our sister institutions in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Vermont. These collaborative efforts provide multiple diverse connections to the internet and Internet2 thus allowing high-speed connections among researchers and many other non-profit endeavors both nationwide and internationally.
NetworkNH connects our partners directly to University System of New Hampshire infrastructure, which includes the UNH Enterprise Technology Systems Data Center, the Research Computing Center, UNH Interoperability Lab, Meteorology Systems laboratories at Plymouth State University, and other research and learning resources at Keene State College and Granite State College. These connections provide access to colocation facilities for backup and resiliency as well as high-speed access to the Cray High Performance Computer, and other high-speed computing and application resources.
