Effective identification and management of risks to USNH and its component institutions relies on many factors, including consultation and collaboration within the USNH community. For some categories of risk, a System-wide committee exists to provide a forum for inter-institutional consultation and risk management actions or recommendations to administrative leaders and trustees. These System-wide committees include:
- USNH Finance Executive Council (FINEC)
- The GLBA Committee is advisory to the USNH Finance Executive Council (FINEC) and is charged with overseeing and coordinating the USNH Gramm Leach Bliley Act compliance program.
- USNH Information Technology Executive Council (ITEC)
- USNH Council on Environmental Health and Safety
The Administrative Board provides a forum for executive level risk management consultation and decision-making, and at the governance level, the Audit Committee of the USNH Board of Trustees provides oversight of USNH’s risk management efforts.
