Some of these generic classification specifications may be out-of-date. Some generics no longer accurately describe the work completed by staff in positions classified as such, and other classifications have been discontinued. For these reasons, HR Compensation is actively engaged in a project to update all generics, and changes will be made to this page over the coming year. When making a request for a new position or a reclassification, HR Compensation will determine the appropriate classification, considering the present-day classification structure, based on the content within the position description provided.
