A Message from Chancellor Ed MacKay

Chancellor Ed MacKay

For over a quarter of a century the University System of New Hampshire has provided contemporary wellness programming for faculty and staff. It is our belief that education focusing on healthy lifestyle choices, coupled with opportunities to engage in activities that support such education, leads to an enhanced life while decreasing risk of disease. It is our goal to offer a wide menu of positive activities and resources to faculty and staff members on a continuing basis. In addition, we hope that positive habits will extend to your families, prompting improved awareness and fitness for each family member.

The concept of “Value, Choice and Engagement” serves as a cornerstone in the foundation of building healthier individuals and a more connected community of fellow workers. I urge you to browse the USNH Health and Wellness web site to determine which activities appeal most to you.

I hope you will join me in a concentrated effort to live a wellness lifestyle!
