Benefits Available to Adjunct Employees

Adjunct employees are covered by workers' compensation, unemployment compensation, liability insurance coverage, and the social security benefits program, unless otherwise specified. (See USY V.A.5)

In addition, the University System offers the following voluntary benefits:

Adjunct 403(b) Retirement Plan Participation (Employee Contribution Only).

  • Standard Contribution Level.  The standard contribution level provides for the employee to contribute 6%.
  • Alternate Contribution Level.  The alternate contribution level provides for the employee to contribute 2.5%.
